He looks puzzled for a second clearly unsure of why he's there, but then he says, "In all honesty, it feels as if I just sort of popped into existence at your castle gate. So many other thoughts and personalities are each clawing for the surface though. All seem like me, yet I am sure this is the way I'm supposed to be."
The tea arrives and he takes a sip and says, smiling, "This is good for a desert kingdom."

Post by Voltaire 'The King' Vanda'ar on Jul 6, 2010 16:34:39 GMT -5
Voltaire wrapped his arms around him, almost as though hugging himself, and casts his eyes to the ground, "The desert is a strange place." He says softly. After a moment he picks up his cup of tea, staring back at his reflection.
"I don't remember crossing the desert... It's only been five or so short years since I remember falling against the searing metal gates... It was chaos... It's been such a short time, but so much here has changed." He mused to Kenneth, it was nice to have someone to talk to, even if the man was crazy. Being the king was lonely sometimes, especially when you didn't remember where you came from or who you were before. He looked over at Kenneth and smiled softly, "You're welcome to stay as long as you like... so long as you don't go picking fights."
"We buy it from a traveler who graces us with his presence every once in a while. I have no idea where the man is from." He takes a sip, before settling his eyes back on his reflection.
